While vaccination against AI and disinfection appear to depend on individual farmer attitude, as shown by the significance of the farm random effects, they still vary over time when viewed across all farms (Figure 1). Contrary to harvesting behavior, these preventive actions have a seasonal component (Figure 3C and D) indicating a willingness to maximize the number of vaccinated broiler chickens and the protection against other diseases during the January-March period. The January-March period is the period of lunar new year celebrations in Viet Nam, commonly associated with higher poultry market prices and an increased risk of disease transmission, as has been observed for avian influenza (Delabouglise et al., 2017; Durand et al., 2015). In response, farmers tend to invest more in disease prevention practices at this time and veterinary services provide more vaccines and disinfectant for free. Farm disinfection has a significant temporal autocorrelation component and is unaffected by disease outbreaks, indicating that farmers are slower at adapting this practice to changing conditions. Some events may affect the frequency of vaccination and disinfection on a long time frame. For example, the peak in AI vaccination observed at the end of 2015 can be interpreted as a part of a long-term response to the high HPAI incidence reported in early 2014 (Delabouglise et al., 2017). The time period of the present study is too short to provide a statistical support for these long term dynamics.
Your manuscript identifies that depopulation is a more common response to disease outbreaks among farms with small flocks in southern Vietnam. This may prove to be a vital piece of information for policies that aim to limit the spread of avian influenza into human populations.
Your manuscript surveyed 53 poultry farms in Southern Vietnam and identified that small scale farmers with lower sized flocks were more likely to rapidly harvest and sell disease birds to mitigate loss of profit. This finding is of great potential importance for developing prevention efforts for introduction of avian influenza into human populations.
The Discussion could use a more detailed limitations section. For instance, please elaborate on 1) the use of a proxy for weight instead of weight itself, 2) potential misclassification of outbreaks, 3) the fact some behaviours may depend on events happening in longer time frames, for example the previous year, but this is not accounted for in the models, and 4) that the harvest of chickens could be greatly influenced by economic needs of the household (a family event, an economic shock, disease, etc.), especially for smallholder farmers in the developing world who may use chickens as a form of cash savings.
With machines provisioned from a single image using technologies such as Provisioning Services (PVS) or Machine Creation Services (MCS), it is important to understand how each agent is identified - and if there are any instructions required for virtualized environments. Some vendors use dynamic information such as the MAC address or computer name for machine identification. Others use the more traditional approach of a random string generated during installation. To prevent conflicting registrations, each machine needs to generate a unique identifier. Registration in non-persistent environments is often done using a startup script that automatically restores machine identification data from a persistent location.
Recommendation: Ask your security vendor how the registration/unregistration of their agents is implemented. If registration requires more steps for environments with single-image management, include these steps in your image sealing instructions, preferably as a fully automated script.

If you upgraded Horizon Agent to 7.8 and later but did not upgrade Connection Server to 7.8 and later, you cannot use custom scripts for load balancing. In this case, Horizon load-balances the desktop and application sessions in the farm using the default option when no load balance settings are configured in the Horizon Administrator.
You must enable the VMware Horizon View Script Host service on an RDS host before you configure a load-balancing script. The service is turned off by default. Set it to automatic using services.msc. 59ce067264
